I've always been spoiled as a brat. I expected everything from my parents, I wanted to be involved in every sport. One day I begged and pleaded to be signed up for gymnastics. My cousin Tanja was doing it and seemed awsome , so i decided to join. My favourite part was picking out my suit, there were so many different ones and they were all colourful. I was sent down to change and walked into the gym for the first time, i felt my heart beating how scared i was. It was huge, i've never seen anything like it. Everywhere i looked there were girls doing backflips and sommersaults. I was put into a team of about six and my coach was amazing, i looked up to her and hoped that i would be as good as her. At first it was exhausting learning all the new things, it was pretty hard too, i sprained a couple arms and legs but nothing stopped me for preparing for competition. At the end of each practise my coach would make us do 50 pushups and 50 situps before leaving, oh and how could i forget..wheelbarrel races. Those were the worst... i was teamed up and tanja and everytime i would leave home with burn marks on my knees from the floor. Me and her made a horrible team but we got some good laughs out of it. I quite gymnastics a couple years back, i miss it alot and always dreamed of being good at it.
I look back at my childhood life and remind myself of how great it was. I had alot of laughs and great memories. Every saturday when i had gymnastics i would always look for my friends car hoping she was there so we could do our wheelbarrels races. It was something i always looked forward too at 11am. That was the greatest years of my life!
