Five Movies and Books

1. Taken is one of my favourite movie because it has to due with trafficing women. A young girl at the age of 17 who has a very protective father and with the nagging of her mother, allowed her to travel to paris with her ninteen year old friend. When their plane landed they were picked up by a boy who was disguised. Both the girls were taken and introduced to the world of prostitution. The father travels to Paris to find them and eventually returns his daughter home. I enjoyed this movie because it makes people believe anything is possible. He believed he could find his daughter and he did.

2. Blow is another one of my favourite movies because it's about a man who starts off with nothing and ends up with millions. He becomes rich due to the distribution on marijuana and cocaine. This movie was interesting because it shows how fast you could lose everything, including your family and friends.

3. The Paper Bag Princess was one of my favourite books to read because it's about a princess who is very snobby and wants everything done her way. When she finally meets her prince he gets taken away by the dragan, then the dragan decides to burn all her clothes, then she was left with nothing. In the end the princess gives up and learns she can't always have whatever she wants. This is a great lesson to teach little kids about sharing and what you have isn't as valuable as you think.

4. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is an awsome movie about a man who was born old and gets younger and younger. Its a great love story because he meets a young girl while he's old and they meet together in the middle. They spend time together and even move in together, eventually they have a baby and he thinks he's not suitable to raise the child because eventually he will be the same age as his child. He leaves her and she is left to raise they baby alone. This movie was very well directed and had a great plot, I would recommened it to everyone.

5. Go Ask Alice is an amazing novel for young teens to read because some can base it on their lives. It's about a young girl who struggles through her highschool life and experiment with drugs and alcohol. She loses all her friends in the end and is left with nothing but her family.
